Diggin' In These Crates For A Phat Remix

In a random act of genuine kindness, the man JT recently asked me to offer a contribution to Retrospectives Month at Feed Me Good Tunes. After a bit of discussion, he and I decided that I would cover the music of Madlib for my part in the series. I dropped a little bit of knowledge, and we incorporated a generous number of mp3s into the post. Things turned out rather well, if I do say so myself. Take a second to check out the final result of our collaborative efforts...

It was a superb post, too. I count myself lucky that you wanted to take part. Look forward to doing it again sometime [either here or back over there].

The people are loving it.

JT---I'm definitely receptive to collaborating again in the future. For the record, you can do a guest post over here any day of the week. You have an open invitation whenever you feel inspired to contribute something.

Honestly, I love doing Souled On, but I usually don't have the time or space to do a whole lot of writing in my posts. Working on that Madlib piece allowed me to exercise an entirely different part of my brain, and that made for a great experience. It's just icing on the cake that the response has been so positive.

Thanks again, and be well...
