Great work as usual my man.

The Whatnauts. Id be lying if I'd ever heard of them, but that's pretty smooth. Don't think Ive ever heard such a buzz as when Nas dropped that track and subsequent album back in 94. One.

Big thanks for the Rotary Connection track, never heard it before and it gave me the chills - especially when the sampled section kicks in. Beautiful music.

Anon 1---Yeah, I like that Gladys joint a lot, too. On the whole, her early material is far superior to her later work (in my opinion, anyway).

rrougher---"Windy C" is the shit. That 100% Pure Poison album used to be somewhat hard to find, but it's been reissued in recent years-on a UK label I believe.

commish---Agreed---The Whatnauts aren't exactly a household name. Think the whole political jive was a bit too much for most heads back in the day, but producers and DJs have been tapping that shit for a while. Message From A Black Man is the one to dig for if you plan to check them out.

Ben 1---Rotary Connection's material is pretty amazing in general. Didn't discover them until just a few years ago, but it was undoubtedly like stumbling upon a goldmine.

Edward---Thanks for passing through. See ya on the flip, homie.

Ben 2---The props are greatly appreciated. This was a weird post for me. I agonized over the songs more than usual, so it's good to know that you liked the end result. Peace.

If that's yours then I know who's sending me some mp3s from your blog. I have a regular reader who's sent me a couple hundred zip files over the past couple of years. I was under the impression that they were from his collection, so I've posted several things he's sent me over time. I just sent him an e-mail to ask him if he remembers getting any files from your blog.

Dude---again...I never heard of your blog until today when I read your other comment. I have enough of my own music that I'm not going to take from another blogger without giving props. If someone sends me files I like after saying I can post them, I don't see the problem with that. I can't give you love without knowing who you are.

If I was stealing shit I'd at least have the good sense to moderate or censor my comments.
